Returns and withdrawal

This policy explains when you can withdraw from a purchase, how to do it and how we refund you. It applies to purchases from GGA Holding B.V., trading as ALUR Atelier, Herengracht 582, 1017 CJ Amsterdam, the Netherlands, info@aluratelier.com.

Collection pieces: 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer and bought a piece from the collection online, in its standard size and one of the standard finishes, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the day you receive it, without giving a reason.

Made-to-measure and custom pieces: no right of withdrawal

Pieces made to your own dimensions, design or specification are excluded from the right of withdrawal (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU). If such a piece is defective or not as agreed, your statutory rights apply in full.

How to withdraw

Tell us within the 14-day period that you want to withdraw. Any clear statement is enough, for example an email to info@aluratelier.com. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to. You meet the deadline if you send your statement before the 14-day period ends.

Contact us before you send the piece back, so we can confirm the return address and arrange the return with you.

Sending the piece back

Send the piece back, or hand it over to us, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day you told us you are withdrawing. The cost of returning the piece is yours.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the piece that results from handling it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.

Your refund

We refund everything you paid, including the standard shipping cost, within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal. We use the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree to another; you pay no fees for the refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the piece back or you have shown that you have sent it back, whichever is earlier.

Damage on delivery

Check the packaging when your piece is delivered and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt. Take photographs and send them to us straight away by email or WhatsApp. We will agree a solution with you. Damage in transit does not affect your statutory rights.
